In addition to the creative and decorative woodturning, I also undertake a wide range of commercial turned work for a variety of customers including bespoke boxes and components for jewellers, knobs and turned parts for furniture makers and restorers, roof finials and column caps etc. for builders, knobs and buttons for vintage car restorers, lamps and shades for lamp makers and trophy bases for trophy suppliers. I have had all sorts of unusual requests over the years, I even made some bird perches for a taxidermist once so anything is possible!

I also have laser cutting and engraving facilities and can engrave logos, text etc. on wood, some plastics and glass which can be incorporated into the turned work.

I can turn wood, resins, some plastics and non-ferrous metals and am happy to advise on suitable choices of wood and other materials where necessary. I can also undertake replication of turned components for furniture repair and restoration. I’m also happy to accept commissions if you have specific requirements for the more conventional turned work.
